The holidays are a great time of year at SummerGlen. Although we have been having some spectacular Florida weather (temperatures in the 70’s to low 80’s) and it hardly feels like Christmastime, there is special warmth throughout the community this time of year. Neighbors are decorating their homes inside and out and sharing homemade cookies. The Residents’ Club is busy almost every night with one holiday party or another. Although SummerGlen is one of the friendliest communities you’ll find anywhere, this time of year it seems even more friendly.
If you’re visiting the Central Florida area for the holidays, we welcome you to stop by and experience what SummerGlen is all about. If you have visited other adult retirement communities, I’ll bet you’re going to say that SummerGlen just feels different. So many people tell us that it literally “feels like home” from the minute they drive through the gated entry and wave to the friendly greeter stationed there.
Oh and by the way, SummerGlen now has a new community website www.oursummerglen.com. This site has beeb especially created so that our homeowners can communicate with one another and find out what’s happening within the community. As a visitor, you will not have access to the community directory and other information for owners only, but you can take a look at some of the many activities going on in the community, see a community calendar and even photo galleries posted by our residents.
